Guess who got professional wedding photos? Let the wedding recaps commence! I figured I would start with photos since I have been so excited to see them. When we first started wedding planning, Kevin and I mentally ordered all our expenses starting with the most important. Since we decided not to hire a videographer, photography ranked pretty high on our list. We met with a few potential photographers and decided to go with KWU Weddings.

Kellie, the owner and primary photographer, uses a second shooter at all her weddings, and I really liked that her photography is candid and simple. We were more interested in photojournalistic style photos as opposed to a bunch of posed photos. Also, her packages were very reasonably priced, and we own the rights to all our photos. We first shot our engagement photos with her back in May, which gave us a chance to get comfortable with her.
When the big day came around, I discovered that pretty much all of our vendors had worked together: the sign of a great team. The photos came out great and perfectly captured the day. I often look through them and all those feelings from our wedding day just come rushing back. Here are some favorites. More photography to come in future wedding recap posts.

Food and photography were our two most important wedding details that we were willing to splurge on. What wedding details do you pay the most attention to?

Gorgeous photos! I love the red shoes!
Food, photography and alcohol is where we decided to splurge. I cut things out like flowers, paper invitations and a DJ and we were able to keep on budget!
My hubby and I along with our families love to eat so for us the food was a big deal. I wish we had paid more attention to our photography because we were very disappointed with our pictures. So much was missed. I did not even get a picture of me by myself in my dress. I entered the ceremony down a grand staircase and that was not captured on photo or video. Your photos are beautiful. Congratulations.
So pretty!!! I just realized you got married at the Orlando Science Museum. Maybe you posted that and I missed it – but LOVE the glass bridgeway (or whatever it’s called) pics (with the Star Wars!!).
I can’t wait to hear/see more
Yay!! Beautiful! I love seeing wedding pics! I probably thought the most about the food.
Beautiful pictures!
We paid the most attention to photography, videography and food. Videography was super important to both of us because we wanted to have a video reminder of the entire day and to show our future children
Oh my gosh what stunning pictures! Love them
