I know I’m late to the party, but my gym just got wi-fi, so I can now listen to Pandora during my workouts through my phone.

Pandora isn’t what is new to me, though. It’s Pandora’s new (to me) feature, workout playlists, which have been pumping me up through my workouts lately. All of the music on my iPhone are from my freshman year of college when people still used Limewire to download music, so suffice it to say, I need some musical variety.
Pandora offers 12 different workout playlists from dance cardio to classic rock power workout to yoga workout. I’m still working my way through all of them, but I really like pop fitness because it’s songs I know and they’re all really catchy and upbeat.

I actually thought I would love the 80s cardio playlist, but after a little while the songs started to sound the same. 80s music isn’t as fun when you’re not drinking.
I’m definitely loving these playlists although sometimes I need to turn on an old reliable song to get me through the last leg of a workout.
Do you have a song you always go to that pushes you through that last mile or last set of reps?
Mine is “Hey Driver” by Lucky Boys Confusion. Hello 2003. It’s been too long.
Instant motivation.

I had no idea that Pandora had playlists for workouts! They need to add a zumba station so I can bust out some of my salsa moves
Wow, yours is so organized! Mine is just one cluttered mismash of everything from pop to metal!
Ahh I need to get organized like you… I am impressed!
Actually I have a band that pushes me through, Dr Dog – most of their songs are upbeat and keeps me going!
I really like Pandora but I had no idea they had workout playlists. That’s a great idea. Sadly I do not have a smart phone so I won’t be able to utilize this awesome feature.
No songs come to mind, but my workouts are always FULL of upbeat stuff or I get super bored!
Coooooool
Thanks for sharing. I’m going to have to check those out.
So glad I found your blog! I had no idea that Pandora had this! Looks like I will be doing some testing tonight at the gym
Oh, nice! I’m going to have to check out some of the playlists. I have Pandora on my phone but never use it because it drains the battery and I’m lazy about charging. Totally agree on the 80s music. I cannot listen to that crap when I’m working out. It’s gotta be fast pop or fast rock for me.
I always listen to pandora during my workouts too but for some reason it always freezes and gets upset at me when I try to change the song. So annoying!
Haha, forgot all about Lucky Boys Confusion. I used to listen to them too back in the day! I use Pandora for my workouts – love it!
I love Pandora! Type in any artist and bam! There’s a station:)
“80s music isn’t as fun when you’re not drinking.”
LOL. That is soo true. I would NEVER sing “Don’t stop believing” at the top of my lungs when I’m sober.
